Heath, so you are saying that Lotus Connections is driving up the sales numbers for the iPhone? I think we somehow need to get Apple to get me a commission :)
Yes, it's been available for about 6 months now. To use it, all you need is an iPhone and the Lotus Connections Mobile server must be in the DMZ or your iPhone must have a VPN client into your network.
This pretty much locks in my decision to get an iPhone. Lotus Connections 2.5 is mind-scramblingly awesome! What an incredible business tool!
ReplyDeleteVery nicely done, Luis. Fingers crossed for a good, usable deployment ... you know where!? Smile.
ReplyDeleteHmm, how do I convince my manager that I need an iPhone and Blackberry?

ReplyDeleteThanks, Howard, glad you liked it!!
Ted, ROTFL!
Wow, this looks impressive! I'm a huge BB fan, but the business apps voor the iPhone keep getting better and better..
ReplyDeleteWonderfull, can wait to see it in my iTouch
ReplyDeleteLuis: could you save a video like this about the capabilities that Connections 2.5 will have for Blackberry ? Thanks
@josue, as soon as I get my hands on the new client from RIM, I'll put a video here ! :)
ReplyDeleteIs this an app? I used Safari to open Connections and it gives me the same UI as a web browser. How do I get to the iPhone interface?
ReplyDeletehah..never mind, I just need to use the correct URL at Safari, I see the same interface now by appending /mobile
ReplyDeleteHi Luis,
ReplyDeleteis the application already available? Does it need a server behind the firewall or in DMZ?
