Register for Lotusphere Opening General Session Live Blog

We are about 24 days away for Lotusphere 2009. At Lotusphere 2008 I live blogged the Lotusphere Opening General Session. I got some great feedback from people that were not attending that it was valuable for them to stay informed as to what was going on and what was being announced. At Lotusphere 2009, I plan to do the same thing.

This time, however, I'm going to use CoverItLive, a live blogging platform. What does this mean to you? Well, once you get to my blog, you won't have to refresh your screen every couple of minutes. It will just automatically refresh.

Interested? Well, enter your email address below, and a reminder will be sent to come back to this blog when the Opening General Sessions is about to start.

If you'll be live Tweeting, post a comment and let me know. I'll include your tweets as part of the live blog.

Alternatively, if you want to see what other people are saying, you can also use Twitter's search mechanism to view a feed of comments from the Lotusphere Opening General Session. If you want to use Twitter (It's free and you don't have to register), use these URLs:

  1. Luis, I will be live tweeting, possibly live blogging but not likely, I did it last year and so many others were better at it than I.

  2. Don't forget that we have run http://www.LotusphereLive.com for a few years now and plan on continuing. We also have already established CoverItLive for the event as well as our Sametime service on LotusphereLive where you can catch images, text and commentary

  3. @Keith, I've added your twitter stream to the live blog!

@Chris, Doh!! I wasn't aware of that site. I'll link to it from my live blog since that's more established! Thanks for the heads up!

  4. Chris and Luis, is there a way we can all work together on this, instead of multiple people doing the same thing? For example, I'm supposed to be a "Lotusphere Blogger". Well, I don't want to just be cover the same things everyone else is doing, and cluttering up people's RSS feeds. How can we all team up, and do a single CoverItLive/LotuSphere live thing?

  5. we are continuing LotusphereLive this year with new features and enhancements that match CoverItLive, but on a Domino and Sametime platform to showcase the ability of using native apps. we will have embedded pictures, videos, comments, etc all flowing it with auto-refresh as always. Last year we set a new record with the number of live watchers and hope to do the same this year.
